Batang Surigaonon Youthniversity: A Launchpad for Future

Objective

Anchored on the JCI 2025 Plan of Action, the Batang Surigaonon Youthniversity aims to empower the youth of Surigao through transformative training programs that cultivate leadership, resilience, and active citizenship. Guided by JCI’s commitment to building better leaders and stronger communities.

Beneficiaries

This program is intended for young individuals aged 18 to 30, including both students and out-of-school youth, who are eager to improve their future. With around 2,000 beneficiaries, it helps participants enhance academic performance, build essential life skills, and improve their overall well-being. It also offers exposure to career pathways and hands-on learning experiences. Most importantly, it nurtures self-confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility, encouraging the youth to become more active, empowered, and productive members of their communities.
