Strengthening the House of the North: A General Membership Meeting Summary
The May 24, 2025 General Membership Meeting (GMM) of JCI Surigao North, led by 2025 LO President Atty. Krystel Grace Calderon-Buniel, marked a significant milestone for our organization. Held at the Kalipayan CJ Beach Resort, Looc, Surigao City, the event successfully inducted the members and Baby Jaycees of Batch Apex and Batch Nexus, formally welcoming them into the House of the North. This induction ceremony was a key component of the GMM, signifying the growth and expansion of our chapter. The event also provided an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our existing members and to formally recognize the dedication and commitment of our newest recruits. The atmosphere was one of celebration and shared purpose. In addition to the induction, a valuable JCI Protocol training was conducted, led by the distinguished and esteemed JCI Senator Richmond Anthony Riain Alfonso.
Following the formal proceedings of the GMM, including the training session, a productive fellowship session allowed members to connect on a more personal level. This gathering fostered collaboration, strengthened relationships, and provided a platform for brainstorming future projects and initiatives. The collaborative spirit demonstrated during this fellowship session, building upon the insights gained from the training, underscored the strength of our chapter and our shared commitment to building better communities. The discussions and connections made during this time, informed by JCI Senator Riain’s expertise, will undoubtedly contribute to our future success and impact. We are grateful for the participation of all members who attended and extend our sincere thanks to JCI Senator Riain Alfonso for his valuable contribution.
