JCI Surigao North Joins Youth Talk on Pangandoy Radio

Earlier today, September 12, 2024, JCI Surigao North’s LO President Eric M. Libay and fellow Sambisig Presidents – JCI Surigao Wensie LO President Viera May Ordiz and JCI Surigao Nickel LO President John Lester Fetalvero duly represented by 2024 Local Skills Development Director Gideon Buniel, joined the “PANGANDOY NAN KABANTAN-ONAN” radio program, hosted by Atty. Krystel Grace Calderon-Buniel, the Local Youth Development Officer, under the leadership of Surigao City Mayor Paul Dumlao.
They ignited and shared a powerful conversation about JCI’s mission and its incredible impact on the community. Heared their inspiring stories and initiatives that were transforming lives in Surigao, from empowering youth to promoting sustainable development and be inspired to make a difference!

Public Speaking & Lantugi sa Area 5: Debate Competitions Heats Up the 44th Mindanao Area Conference

The 44th JCI Philippines Mindanao Area Conference, hosted by JCI Kagayhaan Gold, one of the highlights was the Public Speaking and Lantugi sa Area 5 Debate Competition Co-hosted by JCI Bukidnon Maragway and JCI Surigao North, was a whirlwind of inspiration, connection, and of course, fierce competition! We witnessed incredible talent and passion as young leaders from across Mindanao went head-to-head, tackling complex issues with eloquence and conviction. 🧠🎤

JCI Surigao North is officially in the City of Golden Friendship for The 44th Mindanao Area Conference, and we’re feeling the excitement building! We’re bringing our energy and enthusiasm to this incredible gathering of young leaders from across Mindanao, and we’re excited to connect, learn, and grow together.
September 6th 2024, we’re kicking off the festivities with the “Tsada Night”, a neon-themed opening night and welcome party hosted by our sister chapter and the host for this year’s AreaCon – JCI Kagayhaan Gold.
This is more than just a conference; it’s a chance to build lasting connections, share ideas, and inspire each other to create positive change in our communities. JCI Surigao North Joins 3rd Regional Council Meeting and Northmin Sportfest in CDO, Celebrating Unity and Sportsmanship

JCI Surigao North, led by 2024 LO President Eric M. Libay, had an amazing time at the 3rd Regional Council Meeting and JCI Northmin Sportfest in Cagayan de Oro City last August 17, 2024!
They were energized by the camaraderie and sportsmanship displayed by all the JCI chapters in attendance. It was inspiring to see so many passionate individuals come together to build connections, and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship.
The JCI Northmin Sportfest was a highlight, showcasing the talent and dedication of our fellow JCI members. JCI Surigao North is proud to have participated and witnessed the spirit of competition and teamwork on full display. 🏸⛹️

JCI Surigao North Celebrates Brilliance and Potential at First-Ever “Batang Surigaonon: Brains of Surigao”

The future is bright, and it’s filled with the potential of our youth! JCI Surigao North was honored to join and support the first ever “Batang Surigaonon: Brains of Surigao” held last August 16, 2024 at the City Gymnasium. Together with JCI Surigao Nickel and JCI Kagayhaan Gold, witnessing the young minds of Surigao showcase their brilliance and passion was truly inspiring. As Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” These young participants are the future leaders, innovators, and changemakers of our community, and we are excited to see what they will accomplish.
The event was a testament to the power of education and the importance of nurturing young talent. We were captivated by the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants as they collaborated with peers and demonstrated their knowledge.
JCI Surigao North is committed to empowering youth and providing them with opportunities to grow and thrive. We believe that investing in our youth is investing in the future of our community. We are proud to be part of this journey, supporting the next generation of leaders and changemakers.
