Eleven student leaders gained clarity, commitment, and innovation in leadership.

Eleven (11) student leaders from Northeastern Mindanao Colleges (NEMCO) participated in the Leading with Purpose, a leadership development initiative held at the NEMCO Research Office.
The project, facilitated by JCI, aims to inspire and equip young leaders with the mindset and values necessary to lead with clarity, passion, and purpose. The activity featured two insightful sessions delivered by JCI members:
“Building Commitment, Initiative, and Innovation as Student Leaders” by Raxiey G. Adolfo, 2025 Local Skills Development Director; and
“Why We Do What We Do as Student Leaders” by Kenn Edgar A. Parojinog, 2025 Vice President for Business.
Throughout the discussions, participants reflected on the true meaning of leadership—emphasizing that it is not defined by titles or positions but by influence, responsibility, and service. The sessions encouraged student leaders to remain committed to their roles, take initiative in addressing challenges, and innovate even when resources are limited.
This initiative reinforces JCI’s mission of empowering young people to create positive change and contributes to building a stronger culture of student leadership within NEMCO and the wider Surigao community.
