Day 1: STEM in Motion Campaign Ignites Curiosity for San Francisco, Placer, and Toledo National High Schools
November 14, 2024, marked the electrifying start of the much-anticipated “nuLab: STEM in Motion Campaign” in Surigao del Norte. The mobile science learning facility, nuLab, warmly welcomed delegates from San Francisco National High School, Placer National High School, and Toledo National High School, engaging 72 senior high school students with cutting-edge STEM modules.
Students plunged into fascinating topics like Climate Science, Internet of Things (IoT), and Data Science, gaining a glimpse into the future of science careers. The interactive, hands-on approach sparked excitement and curiosity, encouraging students to explore the endless possibilities within the STEM fields.
This dynamic initiative, led by DOST-SEI and DOST-Caraga, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Surigao del Norte and JCI Surigao North, aims to ignite the passion of the youth and bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications.
